Hello,
and thank you once again for a wonderful stay (three weeks, around and after Christmas)at your lovely guesthouse! It has definitely the best location along the whole south coast, with an ok distance to Unawatuna and Galle (if desired), and one of the best swimmingpools nearby. Another perfect natural pool nearby is in the easternmost end of Thalpe, just before Koggala. The reef there gives superb snorkelling! The pools are really important to know about, since the waves, the undertow and the reefrocks makes it impossible in general to go for a swim!
About Shanti GH itself we have nothing else but the very best to say! Mohan with family and staff are so nice and helpful, and our waiter Chandima and the old nightguard were just so sweet! Thank you all - cleaners, cooks (great food! Never stomachproblems! ;-) waiters, guards, familymembers! We really hope you´ll have good business in the future - more price worthy you´ll get hard to find!
Might see you one day again - we still have a lot to see of Sri Lanka!
All the best to all of you!
Tuija & Mats Roxling, with Vilhelm, Valdemar & Stephanie.

We stayed here for 10 days and we really had a nice and relaxing time. The family and all the team were very friendly and cared a lot. We had a nice and clean room and when ever you are hungry they serve fresh food. If you decide to go there you have to try the special sri lanka breakfast and all their curries...very nice and lonely beach! ...Have a good time!!

Hi everybody, I had the pleasure to be at Shanti´s about 7 years ago, I´ve been there for 4 weeks and don´t like to leave this place and this wonderful family. This 4 weeks I was in paradise ( I think it must be like there :-)), because everyone was doing the very best to read the wishes from my eyes and they were always right :-) I also enjoyed to travel around the Island with Mohan(best guide on earth) and Mr. Lakpyra(best driver on earth). Mohan planed this 6 days and showed us all places you should see on this Island. I really hope to come back as soon as possible.
Thanks for the wonderful time and all the best wishes to the whole family, I didn´t forget you.
Regards from Berlin
Bernd

Hello,
I was in Sri Lanka 12 years ago. I was 5 years old and it was the BEST journey in my life...now i am 17 and I still want to come back and visit your family. I had much fun with your daughter Anusha (don`t know how to spell) she was 16 and played with my all the time. My father is an architect and helped you with the house. My mother painted the walls :-) It was so beautiful there...I have very blond hair. You all liked this very much :-) and I drank only Mirinda the whole day...
I hope you remember me :-)

I stayed at the Shanthi Guesthouse for over 2 months and had a wonderful relaxing time there. The food was excellent and the staff looked after me very well. They sorted out taxi rides, washing, helped with my computer and many other things while I was there. At the end of a busy, tiring day at work it was relaxing to sit in the beach cafe by the sea, looking for turtles in the surf, watching the crabs on the rocks, taking photos of the stilt fishermen and the beautiful sunset. Thank you Shanthi. I miss you all.

Our first visit to Sri Lanka was a most magical and memorable experience.... what a beautiful and mysterious country. During our travels along the west coast we stumbled upon what can only be described as a slice of paradise, the Shanthi Guesthouse, set amidst the most breathtaking scenery with the most beautiful, peaceful beach we have ever had the pleasure to visit. What makes this such a special place though, is the Premachandra family and their lovely, friendly, welcoming attitude. They really looked after us and Mrs Premachadra is a wonderful cook. Mr Premachandra and Mohan are always very helpful and the rest of the family are lovely. They made our stay as comfortble and relaxing as possible and we felt like part of the family. We loved it so much that we went back there two years later and will definately be returning again. What an amazing experience. Mohan our friend, when you read this, please get in touch. It would be lovely to hear from you again. Damon and Sue, England. xxx
